| Patrick is a fourth-year student in the Molecular Cancer Biology Ph.D. program, where his research focuses on (1) understanding how cancer begins and (2) developing novel strategies to prevent cancer. Alongside his research, Patrick is a co-founder of Liberata, a Duke-backed academic publishing startup. Prior to coming to Duke, Patrick graduated with a BS in Molecular Biology and Applied Math and a MS in Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins University, and served as Chief Operating Officer of the registered charity STEM Fellowship. |
