Matthew Bonacci PhD Associate

Matthew is a fourth-year chemistry Ph.D. candidate in Prof. Matthew L. Becker’s laboratory at Duke University. His research focuses on stereochemical, bioresorbable crosslinking strategies for next-generation materials with applications in tissue engineering and drug delivery. Upon graduation, Matthew is eager to collaborate at the interface of science and commercialization, particularly through new ventures or in venture capital. Before Duke, he conducted research on peptide-based cosmeceuticals under Prof. Nicholas N. Shaw and earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Appalachian State University.
